4 nights Nyerere
Your Driver-Guide reports to your hotel for Start of the safari, with a 8am departure for a scenic drive to Nyerere National Park. ( Drive time 5.5 hours). You will be in your own private Safari vehicle. Arrive at your overnight lodge in Nyerere for a leisurely lunch. Your afternoon game drive starts at 3.30pm, allowing spotting of the amazing wildlife in the park ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Return to your camp by 6.30pm.
Dinner and overnight at Selous Serena Camp or similar.
You will be taken on two gamedrives today, one in the morning from 6.15am to 9am, before breakfast and the other in the late afternoon after lunch from 3.30pm to 6.30pm. Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best time to spot animals at their most active. As your safari is private, your gamedrive timings are flexible, convenient if travelling with children or if on a honeymoon when you perhaps want to lie in longer on some of the days. You may also choose to have a full day game drive [ one for the whole day] with a packed picnic lunch at no extra cost. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Full day at Nyerere National Park with morning and afternoon gamedrives. You may want to add a walking safari or a boat safar into your safari [ at extra cost- please enquire with us]. Return to your camp by evening.

You may choose to have a morning and afternoon game drive or even head out to the reserve for a long day game excursion with a packed picnic lunch to taken at Tagalala (The heart of Selous) while exploring the hot spring. Return in the evening for dinner and overnight at the camp.

At the break of dawn you embark on your concluding gamedrive in Nyerere National Park followed by a leisurely breakfast. Check out by 10am for a return road transfer for Dar es Salaam. Arrive Dar es Salaam by early afternoon [ typically by 3pm]. Drop off at your hotel, or free onward transfer to the airport for your flight back home.
